The Arecont Vision AV5100DN series 5 Megapixel Day/Night Security Camera utilizes a a mechanical Infrared cut-filter to automatically switch from Color to Monochrome for improved video surveillance in low light applications. This Also makes the AV5100DN from Arecont Vision and IR Sensitive model which can be paired with the proper IR Illuminator for absolute night vision!
ULTRA COST EFFICIENCY:
High resolution and crystal clear imagery allows the Arecont Vision AV5100DN Megapixel Day/Night IP Security Camera to substitute up to fifteen analog security cameras; thereby reducing the total cost of installation. No need to supply a separate power source since the power can be drawn from a low cost Powered-Over-Ethernet switch.
