The Axis P5532 PTZ Network Dome Camera supports high definition video recording up to D1 resolution, and features a 1/3" Progressive Scan CCD sensor and a 3.6 - 104.4 mm autofocus lens. In addition, it also offers up to 29x optical zoom and up to 12x digital zoom with autofocus, making it ideal for indoor surveillance applications.

Featuring day and night functionality, it offers a minimum illumination of 0.01 lux, and ensures clear images in bright light and low light conditions. The P5532 PTZ Network Dome Camera supports transfer of multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG streams simultaneously. H.264 compression helps reduce video file sizes without compromising on the quality and integrity of images. Once motion is detected in a pre-defined area, the Advanced Gatekeeper functionality allows the camera to change to a preset position and then return to the home position after a set time.

The camera supports various PTZ capabilities such as E-flip and Auto-flip that allows the camera to pan 360°, and comes with 100 preset positions. Video detection and audio detection features trigger video recording as soon as any video or audio is detected. IP51 rating ensures protection against dusty and wet indoor conditions for smooth and reliable operation.

High Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3at) allows a single cable to carry power, video, and PTZ commands thus making installation fast and easy. The P5532 PTZ Network Dome Camera also includes a High PoE midspan and supports local storage using SD/SDHC memory card. When used with a multi-connector cable (optional), it supports two-way audio, audio detection, 4 configurable inputs/outputs for external devices, and AC/DC power.
