OnSSI NetDVR NVR Software NetDVR-16C is designed for single-server IP Security system deployments of up to 64 IP cameras at a single site, OnSSI NetDVR NetDVR-16C 16ch delivers all of the camera management, recording and archiving capabilities of OnSSI's multi-site/multi-server IP Surveillance platform, as well as the same video clients - remote, web-based, portable and video wall display (optional) for flexible, distributed video delivery.

OnSSI NetDVR's non-proprietary, open-architecture technology enables universal IP Security camera System Design via an array of hardware support. Practically any IP security camera, by all leading manufacturers, can be connected and managed via the OnSSI NetDVR server; in addition, OnSSI NetDVR IP Surveillance Software also supports all standard video compression formats - MPEG4, MJPEG, H.264, H.263, and Wavelet. This allows users to optimize their investment and System design by choosing the hardware and IP security cameras from an extensive list of manufacturers and models.

Bundled with OnSSI NetDVR-16C 16ch NetDVR NVR Software is OnSSI's NetMatrix alert monitor, which enables live monitoring in 'blank screen monitoring' mode - video streams are displayed only upon event (motion detection or externally generated) on users' video clients or dedicated alert monitor screens, allowing immediate response to live events.

OnSSI NetDVR-16C provides advanced live monitoring and after-the-fact investigation of recorded video is made possible via an array of video clients, the OnSSI NetGuard-EVS and OnSSI NetGuard remote video clients, as well as the OnSSI NetPDA and NetCell portable clients and the NEW OnSSI Ocularis Client Lite. Single or multiple OnSSI NetDVR IP Surveillance deployments can also be monitored using OnSSI's NetSwitcher video-wall virtual matrix switch (optional).
