The standard wide angle 2.8mm utilize a manual iris that adjusts from f1.4 to fully closed. 1/3" format cameras utilizing an electronic iris function are a perfect match to these lenses.
The 2.8mm is the standard wide angle lens appropriate for watching counter areas, overall views of large interior spaces, or where low ceilings put the cameras close to the subject.
