| The Pelco MPT9000CZ Series is a second generation Coaxitron(R) remote control with significant engineering improvements and state-of-the-art technology unavailable in the original version. For example, all operational functions are integrated into a single PC board for increased reliability and ease of service.
The MPT9000CZ provides up to 16 remote control functions, both momentary and latching, for CCTV equipment. To further extend the capabilities and versatility of the MPT9000CZ, an auto/random scan plug-in module (A9000) can be added to the system configuration for auto/random scan pan/tilt control within preset limits. In addition, a dual-purpose plug-in board (CX900TLC) permits local operation of the receiver and provides trouble-shooting capability for both the receiver and the transmitter.
The MPT9000CZ is based on the same operating principle as the original version, which remains unique in the industry. It operates simultaneously over the same coax as the video transmission, without requiring additional control cables, by utilizing the vertical blanking interval during which a train of pulses is superimposed upon the normal video signal. This train of pulses is inserted late in the vertical blanking and occupies a single line period which is unnoticeable on the monitor.
The MPT9000CZ can be used in short or medium distance applications when equalization of cable losses is not required. It is compatible with random interlace and 2:1 interlace cameras.
