Vecima WaveRider WR5801S Series is a Weatherproof 5.8GHz point-to-point (PTP) Wireless Network bridge Kit. The WR5801S Wireless Link provides up to 50 Mbps of usable throughput for long range outdoor wireless network communications. Utilizing optimized packet transport and advanced OFDM technology the Vecima WR5801S 5.8GHz Wireless Ethernet Brdige deliveres powerful ethernet communication for public saftey and government applications. The WR5801S Series Vecima Wireless 5.8GHz Bridge Kit features integrated Antenna, PoE Injectors, Mounting Hardware and an intuitive GUI for easy installation.

Quality of Service (QoS) features within the WR4900M Series architecture allow tagged voice and video traffic to take priority over general data packet transfer, providing reliable, real-time capability even under congested link conditions.  Priority privileges for marked frames are maintained from port to port: Ethernet through RF.

With security a key consideration in many applications, the WR5801S Series 5.8 GHz Wireless Link delivers 128 bit AES encryption. In addition, the WR5801S Series provides up to two levels of AAA protection through the configurable use of 802.1 RADIUS and RF MAC authentication.

The Vecima WaveRider PTP Outdoor Wireless kits are available with integrated 23 dBi antennas or connectorized with (WR5802S or WR5812M) dual N-type RF connectors. Surge suppressors, cables and other accessories are also available from Vecima Networks.
