Videotec HOV Hi-PoE Camera Housing HOV32K2A600 and HOV32K2A616 is an innovative and stylish Security Camera housing, designed to simplifyintallation and servicing for IP Security Camera and Megapixel IP Security Cameras, thanks to the benefits of Hi-PoE (Power over Ethernet). This Technology allows to feed the 12VDC IP Cameras as well as the heater directly from the Ethernet cable. No need to add external power sources or bring additional power cables to the camera enclosure.
  If your network does not have Hi-PoE, you can add it by using a single channel Power injector or any of the HiPoE Midspans like those which Videotec certifies from Microsemi/PowerDsine's HiPoE Multi Port 7000 series Midspans.
  The Videotec HOV Hi-PoE Camera Housing ensures total portection against all environmental conditions. Due to its side opening, the accessibility to the camera, lens and all its connections is made far easier. Its weatherproof features are ensured by neoprene-rubber gaskets and 3 cable glands with their specific gaskets, or by the sealing gaskets, when installed withbracket with internal cable management.
  The Body of the Videotec HOV32K2A600 and HOV32K2A616 HOV housing is made of die-cast aluminium; the sunshield of ABS materual. The Sunshield with its integrated edge-protector offers good thermical insulation.  Videotec HOV Hi-PoE offers the possibility of various mountings: wall or ceiling brackets, standard or full cable management brackets, or Pan Tilt heads.
   A specific version of the Videotec HOV model HOV32K2A616 is available with a very efficient cooling system for high environmental temperature.
