How to Configure Your Mobile Device For Remote Viewing

* Please note that before going through this process, you will have needed to port forward your router. The phone uses port 8000.

  • First download Guarding Expert from the App store or Google Play Store. It will look like this:

  • Now, log into the app and select your region.

  • Once you are inside of the app, click the top left button with 3 bars on it to open the side bar of tabs. Now click on devices:

Once within devices tab, click the + button on the top right and click on manual adding. You can fill out the information based off of what is below.

  • Alias: New Device 01
  • Register Mode: IP/Domain
  • Address: (This is your External IP address) (*You find your external IP address by typing into google “whats my ip”.)
  • Port: 8000
  • User Name: (This is either the admin profile you made on the recorder or another profile you made.)
  • Password: (This is either the admin profile you made on the recorder or another profile you made.)
  • Camera no: 1

  • Once you have all of your information entered, click on the save icon in the top right corner and there will be a "start live view" button at the bottom. Click on that and you will now see your cameras like below.

You now have your phone configured so you can view the camera system from anywhere in the world. If this did not work, there was either a mistake on the configuring side, your port forwarding was done incorrectly, or your internet service provider is blocking the ports.
