How to Create a Basic Site with BOSCH's Video Security Client

Bosch released an applicaton called Video Security Client (VSC), for local and remote monitoring of IP cameras and DIVAR IP family devices. This software supports Windows 7 , 8 and 10 and also Windows 8 for tablets and optimized for touch screens. You can connect to 16 sites via VSC. A site can consist of a DIVAR IP device or a grouping of up to 16 individual H.264 cameras or encoders.

Click on “Let’s Go” from the VSC welcome page to create a new site that consist of individual cameras. From here, choose the "You don't use a gateway?" selection. Enter a name for the site and password if desired; passwords must have a minimum of four characters.

After Video Security Client opens, select the Edit button to add new devices. Then, select the camera icon. Video Security Client will perform a scan for all Bosch video devices in the network. Select the desired devices and click Add. By default, the "Secure connection" option is enabled to allow you to use a SSL connection when communicating with your video devices. Once devices have been added, previews will appear in the camera tree on the left side of Video Security Client.

With Video Security Client, up to eight live video feeds can be displayed simultaneously, and you can choose various layouts for the video windows.
