New Smart Stream video encoding technology<\/span><\/h3>\n

Vivotek<\/a>\u00a0is trying to be the pioneer with their new Smart Stream video encoding technology. One big feature that Smart Stream offers is the fact that it is still compatible with the H.264 and H.265 compression rates. Since most of the cameras in the security world run off these rates, this is huge if you consider the bigger picture. Smart stream utilizes unique algorithms and specific movements that are prioritized on the screen creating less data and lower bandwidth requirements. Smart Stream can reduce storage requirements up to 80%, whereas H.265 reduces the amount needed by 50%.
