The Mobotix MX-D14Di-Sec-180 3 Megapixel 180° Panoramic Security Camera features two L22 (22mm focal length) super wide angle lenses that offer a 180° horizontal field of view for covering a wider monitoring area. The Mobotix MX-D14Di-Sec-180's two day sensors can record dual images at resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 (color). The Mobotix D14Di-Sec-180 is equipped with integrated distortion correction software that corrects the convex image at the borders, so the viewer can see images in normal perspective. The Mobotix MX-D14Di-Sec-180' Virtual PTZ feature allows the user to easily navigate and examine specific areas of a picture, without using a manual joystick.

The Mobotix MX-D14Di-Sec-180 has microSD slot that accepts SDHC cards up to 64 GB for storing high-quality videos with audio. In case of an alarm, the built-in microphone records the sound independent of the image rate, allowing for better analysis of the situation. Bidirectional communication is made possible via the loudspeaker.The Mobotix & MX-D14Di-Sec-180 DualDome security camera can be powered from the network itself via an Ethernet cable without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. In addition, the MX-D14Di-Sec-180 can record videos up to 1 TB on any Windows, Linux or Mac-based system over the network
