Panasonic Secure Communication

The Panasonic Secure Communication is a network infrastructure that combines proprietary Panasonic software and a partnership with Symantec Corporation*. It is built to resist attacks on a security surveillance system. It’s a feature found on all new Panasonic 5, 6, and True 4K Series cameras. Forms of attacks it protects against include spoofing (falsifying data), tampering (video/image changing), denial-of-service attacks (overloading server with requests), and snooping (password theft). All attacks are warded off via multiple layers of IP surveillance communication protections. These layers include data encryption, IP communication encryption, data verification, and the use of digital keys made specifically for users.

*Symantec Corporation is one of the most esteemed anti-virus and anti-malware companies out there. It carries extremely reliable and sought-after certificates for cyber-attack detection and analysis.
