Facial recognition is an amazing tool for 21st century security measures. It is already being put into widespread use in casinos, airports, public transportation centers, and numerous infrastructure locations. It’s also used in retail and similar businesses to help combat stealing. Whether it is terrorism or thievery, facial recognition has its uses across the board. And with the rapid spread of cheap tech, it is accessible to everyone and can even be used in your home!

Let’s look over some of the high-tech capabilities of this new software. We think it is very easy friendly and intuitive to use.

You can then go into it and start editing the technical aspects of it. For example, how many FPS you want the faces to be captured at, the resolutions with which to capture them in, the face turn degrees for capturing; and then, a very nifty tool, you can establish where in the scene that you want the camera to actually be looking to recognize faces. This will save on memory. In the above example, they’ve eliminated the camera’s need to try and capture faces at the upper ends of the image. Now imagine if you had the camera pointed down a corridor. You could then use this tool to eliminate the camera’s trying to capture faces along unused spaces such as the corner walls. If the camera is outside, you can eliminate areas that are far too tall for people to ever occupy. This is truly one of the coolest tools available, and an awesome advance in both facial recognition and camera memory usage.

In these images you can see the path to uploading faces and taking other actions. With Aimetis’s facial recognition, you can proactively upload faces for the cameras to recognize. For example, you can upload the faces of an employee so that the camera immediately recognizes them. Or, if you have a common thief that keeps going through, you can proactively put their face up so as to alert you when they reappear.

In this image, you can see the camera having caught someone on its blocked list. The image is saved, the incident is posted to the timeline in red for immediate notice, and an alert is sent to all devices you have connected to the system.

As you can see, Aimetis's
