The 2GIG GG-2GIGSMKT100345 combines photoelectric smoke detection, dual-mode heat detection and low-temperature freeze monitoring in a single wireless device. As part of the 2GIG 345S sensor family, it reports over the 345 MHz band to 2GIG control panels - including the GC Touch and 2GIG EDGE as well as earlier 2GIG panels - with a 70-minute supervisory interval and up to 350 feet of open-air wireless range.

Detection is handled by an optical smoke chamber paired with advanced algorithms tuned to recognize smoke from common synthetic materials while reducing nuisance alarms from everyday cooking. The unit meets UL 268 7th Edition and UL 217 8th Edition requirements and carries CAN/ULC S529 and CSFM listings. Heat protection triggers at a fixed 134°F ±4°F or on a rate-of-rise event when room temperature passes 104°F and climbs 15°F or more within one minute, while freeze alerts are sent at 40°F ±4°F and reset at 45°F ±4°F. An onboard sounder rated above 85 dB(A) at 10 feet provides local notification.

The sensor transmits encrypted by default and can be switched to unencrypted operation using an internal switch, so a single part number covers both legacy and encrypted panel installations and cuts the number of SKUs carried on the truck. Power comes from two CR123A lithium cells with a projected 10-year service life.
