Aiphone IPW-10VC Rack Mount 2-Wire Network Adaptor Kit
The Aiphone IPW-10VC is an analog-to-IP converter kit designed to facilitate network intercom connections using existing 2-conductor copper wiring, including unshielded twisted pair (UTP). This kit includes one IPW-10VR rack-mount receiver module and ten IPW-1VT transmitter modules, allowing for multiple station connections. Each connection utilizes a pair of the 20 included RJ45-to-2-wire converters, and the network connection is managed via a single Ethernet port on the IPW-10VR. The IPW-10VC supports 22 to 18 AWG shielded or unshielded wire and provides PoE to connected stations. However, PoE passthrough is not supported on select IX Series stations. The number of master stations that can be called depends on the wire distance and type of station being used, making it a flexible solution for upgrading legacy intercom systems to IP communication.
