The Aiphone IPW-1VC is an analog-to-IP converter set that enables network intercom stations to connect using existing 2-conductor copper wiring. It includes an Ethernet-to-UTP transmitter and receiver, two RJ45-to-2-wire converters, and a power supply for the receiver. The adaptor supports 22 to 18 AWG shielded or unshielded wire and allows for flexible installation in environments where rewiring is not an option. While it supplies PoE to the station, it does not support PoE pass-through on select IX Series stations. The IPW-1VC provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for upgrading analog systems to IP communication.
