Description

Aiphone IX-SOFT PC Answering Station Software License for IX and IXG Series

The Aiphone IX-SOFT is PC-based answering station software that turns a Windows workstation into a fully functional master station for the Aiphone IX and IXG Series intercom platforms. Operators can place and receive calls, page across the network, monitor door stations, transfer calls between endpoints, and release doors directly from a single interactive interface — eliminating the need for a dedicated hardware master in security operations centers, reception desks, and front-of-house environments.

Each IX-SOFT order is a single, transferable lifetime license tied to one PC, with bundle SKUs available in 3, 5, and 10-license configurations for larger deployments. The software supports up to 499 stations in standard mode and up to 9,998 stations in expanded mode, with Device Check and Line Supervision tools verifying real-time functionality and network status of every endpoint. IX-SOFT is certified for use with Cisco Unified Call Manager and Alcatel-Lucent's OmniPCX Enterprise (OXE) and OXO Connect platforms, supports ONVIF Profile S video streaming, and uses TLS 1.2 encryption for secure communications.

Key Features:

  • PC-based master station for the IX and IXG Series; reclaims desk space by replacing dedicated hardware with a Windows workstation.
  • Single, transferable lifetime license per PC; protects long-term investment by allowing the license to move with the workstation.
  • Capacity for up to 499 stations standard and 9,998 in expanded mode; scales from a small lobby installation to a multi-building campus.
  • 50 programmable speed-dial buttons; speeds up routine call routing for common stations and groups.
  • Interactive map with drag-to-select grouping; lets operators reach individual or grouped stations in seconds during incidents.
  • Device Check and Line Supervision; flags offline or unhealthy endpoints before users encounter a failed call.
  • Call history and call transfer; gives reception and security staff a clear audit of activity and the ability to hand off conversations.
  • H.264/AVC and motion JPEG video with G.711 and G.722 audio codecs; maintains compatibility with the IX/IXG video door stations and SIP infrastructure.
  • ONVIF Profile S compliant video streaming; integrates with third-party VMS platforms that follow the ONVIF standard.
  • TLS 1.2 encryption with unicast and multicast packet delivery; protects audio, video, and signaling traffic across the network.
  • Certified for Cisco Unified Call Manager and Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise (OXE) and OXO Connect; integrates cleanly with major enterprise PBX platforms.
  • Supports Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11 (multiple editions); deploys on a wide range of existing IT environments without OS upgrades.
