Altronix ACMS12 12-Output Access Control Power Module with Fire Alarm Disconnect

The Altronix ACMS12 is a 12-output access control power distribution module engineered to expand Altronix power supplies into multi-door access control systems with built-in fire alarm panel (FACP) disconnect. Each of the twelve fuse-protected outputs can be independently configured for fail-safe or fail-secure operation, with FACP-triggered disconnect set to latching or non-latching mode on a per-output basis — supporting the diverse code requirements found across multi-door commercial installations.

The module accepts two independent low-voltage inputs: Input 1 from a 12 or 24 VDC Altronix power supply, and Input 2 from another 12/24 VDC Altronix supply or 5/12 VDC from a VR6 regulator. Any of the twelve outputs can be selectively assigned to follow either input, allowing installers to mix voltage families on the same module — for example, 24 VDC magnetic locks alongside 12 VDC strike releases. Each output is fuse-protected at 2.5 A (3 A / 32 V fuses), with a total 20 A input capacity shared across the module.

Twelve individually controlled trigger inputs accept normally open (NO), normally closed (NC), open-collector sink, or wet (5–24 VDC with 10K resistor) signaling — or any combination on the same module. Supervised FACP disconnect uses a 10K end-of-line (EOL) resistor for line monitoring, and individual outputs may be set to OFF for servicing without affecting the rest of the system. LED indicators provide clear voltage feedback (green for 12 VDC, red for 24 VDC) with a dedicated blue LED that lights when FACP disconnect is triggered.
