The Altronix AL1024NK8D is a complete access control power supply kit that combines the AL1024ULXB2 24 VDC / 10 A power supply / charger, the PDS8CB 8-output power distribution module, and the VR6 voltage regulator in a single pre-wired indoor wall-mount enclosure. The kit delivers everything an installer needs to power and distribute power to up to eight access control devices — including a mix of 12 VDC and 24 VDC locks, strikes, and accessories — from a single AC drop.

The AL1024ULXB2 stage accepts 115 VAC, 60 Hz input and delivers a clean, filtered, regulated 24 VDC output rated 10 A continuous with overvoltage protection. Built-in battery charging supports two 12 V / 12 AH sealed lead-acid or gel batteries inside the enclosure, with the option to install 40 AH or 65 AH batteries in a separate enclosure for extended runtime. Failover to battery is instantaneous on AC loss, with Form C contacts providing AC failure and battery supervision signals to the host alarm panel.

The PDS8CB distribution module accepts dual inputs (12 or 5 VDC via VR6 plus 24 VDC from AL1024ULXB2) and provides eight PTC-protected outputs at 2.5 A each, individually selectable between 12 VDC and 24 VDC and assignable to follow either Input 1 or Input 2. Bi-colored LEDs on each output indicate active voltage, and individual outputs can be switched OFF for servicing without affecting the rest of the system. The VR6 stage steps the 24 VDC output down to a clean 12 VDC at 6 A continuous with built-in surge suppression, supporting mixed-voltage door hardware on the same module.

The 12\" W x 15.5\" H x 4.5\" D indoor wall-mount enclosure provides interior volume for the three power modules along with two 12 V / 12 AH backup batteries (sold separately). 1.125\" and 1.375\" combination knockouts simplify conduit entry for AC supply, low-voltage outputs, and supervision signaling. Total approximate weight is 9.4 lb empty, manageable for single-technician wall installation in equipment closets and IT rooms.
