The Altronix EBC48 external battery charger provides rapid charging of backup batteries, ideal for integration with Altronix NetWay Spectrum Hardened Switches and POE240 or POE360/POE367 power supplies. Capable of recharging 32AH batteries in under 8 hours, this charger is perfect for applications where constant power isn't available.

Designed for deployments on poles or locations with switched power, the EBC48 allows batteries to power devices up to 100W total for 16 hours during power outages. When power returns, it's routed to devices first with excess used for rapid battery recharging. This unit serves as an excellent alternative to expensive solar deployments.
