Using portcast technology, AXIS T6112 Mk II allows audio and I/O to be transferred digitally over the network cable between the camera and the interface. When connected, it enables the seamless use of a microphone and I/O.

AXIS T6112 Mk II offers great possibilities to add value to your Axis cameras and extend the functionality of your surveillance system. It allows you to add a built-in microphone and I/O connectivity to your Axis cameras making it possible to use audio analytics or record video and audio in one stream. When connected to an external speaker, it also allows you to play audio clips. And, thanks to digital input/outputs, it’s possible to connect external sensors or detectors to trigger alarms or actions.

AXIS T6112 Mk Il adds a microphone and I/O connectivity to your Axis cameras that do not have these capabilities already built-in. With portcast technology, this device uses the camera’s IP address and allows it to provide seemingly camera-integrated microphone and I/O connectivity, enabling audio and video in one stream over the network. With a discreet casing, this device is suitable for indoor installation on a wall or ceiling. It can be installed anywhere between the switch and Axis camera, providing the microphone right where you want it.
