The AXIS TP3604-E Cellular Back Box US is an all-in-one outdoor back box that connects AXIS P32 Dome Camera Series and AXIS P14 Bullet Camera Series cameras (with the AXIS TP1601 Adapter Plate) to an existing private cellular network (PCN), with no trenching required. Insert a nano-SIM (4FF) card, mount the camera directly on top, and install the back box wherever PCN coverage and power are available, such as a light pole with mains power or an existing midspan. The US variant supports 4G Standalone and 5G Standalone on bands B48 and n48 (NSA is not supported) and handles video streaming throughput of up to 200 Mbit/s.

The back box accepts 100-130 V AC (50/60 Hz, 1 A) or 200-240 V AC (50 Hz, 0.5 A) through a terminal block, or PoE input per IEEE 802.3af/at/bt Type 3 Class 5, and supplies PoE to the attached camera: IEEE 802.3at Type 2 Class 4 output when AC powered, or IEEE 802.3af Type 1 Class 3 output when powered by IEEE 802.3at or AC. Its IP66, IK10 and NEMA 4X rated aluminum casing operates from -40 °F to 122 °F, and the mounting bracket includes single-gang and double-gang junction box holes plus 3/4" (M25) conduit side entries. The AXIS T94R01B Corner Bracket and AXIS T91B47 Pole Mount are available as optional accessories.

Built on an NXP i.MX 8M Nano system-on-chip, the unit is protected by the Axis Edge Vault cybersecurity platform with signed OS, secure boot, IEEE 802.1X and IEEE 802.1AE MACsec support. It carries FCC Part 96, FCC Part 15 Class B and UL 62368-1 approvals, is TAA compliant, and is backed by a 5-year warranty.
