The AXIS TQ5901 Audio Ring is a purpose-built accessory that adds two-way audio to the AXIS M5526-E PTZ camera. It mounts around the camera in indoor pendant installations and combines a built-in microphone and speaker in a single circular dome housing. Full-duplex streaming with echo cancellation lets operators hold natural conversations with people on site, and SIP support allows integration with VoIP systems, either peer-to-peer or through a SIP/PBX.

Beyond audio, the TQ5901 extends the camera's capabilities with power-efficient 850 nm IR LEDs, providing surveillance in complete darkness up to approximately 33 ft (10 m) depending on the scene. Customizable RGB LEDs with eight color options can signal camera-triggered events, and event actions support running light profiles while a rule is active.

The unit is powered via PoE (IEEE 802.3at Type 2 Class 4) and housed in an IP54- and IK08-rated aluminum and plastic casing with a hard-coated smoked polycarbonate dome. Signed OS and secure boot protect it at the edge, and it is TAA compliant and backed by a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
