AXIS TU8012 120W Connectivity Midspan DC - 03706-001
The AXIS TU8012 120W Connectivity Midspan DC is a DC-powered midspan that delivers up to 120W of Power over Ethernet to Axis cameras, radars and other network devices. It supports Axis High PoE 120W with Axis devices and IEEE 802.3bt Class 8 with third-party equipment, and it runs from a 24–48VDC input. That makes it a strong fit for transportation, mobile and off-grid installations where AC power is not available.
The midspan also adds connectivity at the edge. Portcast technology uses the connected camera's IP address to provide camera-integrated two-way, full-duplex audio and I/O. It supports unbalanced and digital microphones, a line input and a line output. Three configurable I/O ports plus one fixed input let installers connect sensors, sirens or door contacts without extra hardware. A smart restart function checks the powered device regularly and automatically restarts it if there is no response within 15 minutes.
A built-in SFP slot enables fiber uplinks for long-distance runs, and Gigabit Ethernet data rates keep high-resolution video flowing. The polycarbonate unit mounts on a wall, a shelf or a DIN rail (clip sold separately). It operates from -40°F to 122°F at loads up to 85W. The midspan is TAA compliant, includes secure boot and is backed by a 5-year Axis warranty.
