The Bosch PRA-SCL is the most powerful system controller in the PRAESENSA Public Address and Voice Alarm product range. It manages all system functions — including audio routing, message and tone playback, background music, priority-based call management, and fault supervision — for systems with up to 250 networked devices serving more than 500 zones. All audio connections are dynamically assigned over OMNEO (compatible with Dante and AES67) at 48 kHz/24-bit quality, with AES128 encryption for audio data and TLS for control data.

The PRA-SCL features a built-in 5-port OMNEO network switch with RSTP support, dual DC power inputs with polarity reversal protection, supervised flash storage for up to 90 minutes of message and tone content, and an internal real-time clock with NTP synchronization. The built-in web server enables browser-based configuration, and an open TCP/IP interface supports third-party application integration. A dual redundant controller option is available for mission-critical deployments. The system controller is rack-mounted (1U, 19") and is certified for EN 54-16 / ISO 7240-16 emergency PA/VA standards.
