ETS SM5-M2 Expanded Single Zone Audio Surveillance Kit

The ETS SM5-M2 Expanded Single Zone Audio Surveillance Kit is designed to extend the coverage of a single listening area up to 50 feet in all directions. It connects directly to audio recorders, video recorders, DVRs, I/P cameras, remote monitoring equipment or CCTV monitors with built-in speakers. The kit Powers and mixes the audio of 2 microphones into one un-balanced line level RCA (or 3.5mm) connection. The SMM2 interface box is designed to be located next to a DVR or I/P camera.

The ETS SM5-M2 Expanded Single Zone Audio Surveillance Kit requires a 120VAC power source within 3 feet of its location. If this is not possible in your application, you can splice in up to 100 feet of 18 awg, 2 conductor cables to extend the distance between the AC power source and the unit. Each microphone level can be adjusted to a higher or lower volume so that all microphones can be balanced out for similar sound levels one microphone dominates the overall sound, for example. Experiment by adjusting each level control to achieve the desired overall volume.
