ETS SM6-M2 Expanded Single Zone Audio Surveillance Kit

The SM6-M2 from ETS is a 2 SM1 microphone, SMM2 mixer, SM3 amplifier. Complete single zone, 2 microphone, and audio surveillance system with built-in speaker and headphone jack. It expands pickup coverage to 50 feet in all directions using 2 SM1 microphone signals mixed together. SMM2 mixer has volume controls for each microphone. The SM6-M2 can be used independently for monitoring live audio or with tape recorders and DVRs for recording and playback. Locate the SM1 microphones near the areas of interest in the rooms to be monitored.

If the entire room is to be monitored, locate the SM1s in the middle of the room spread equally apart. Do not mount the microphones near air conditioning vents, light fixtures or electrical equipment. The SM1s should be placed at least 5 feet away from the subject(s) to be monitored. The ETS SM6-M2 Expanded Single Zone Audio Surveillance Kit is still useable in the range of 15-25 feet but is dependent on the level of background noise in the areas. Experimentation in the environment will determine what distances work best.
