This is a 8-port Power over Ethernet switch eliminating the need for independent power supply. This switch has high speed of 10/100 Base TX, PSE/ Power over Ethernet port. You can connect 8 power devices to the switch for better speed and efficient performance. Each port can consume a minimum of 30 watts and up to a maximum of 130 watts.

The auto negotiation feature chooses two connected devices from common transmission parameters to share their capabilities and executes using the highest transmission mode. You get the option to rack mount the system using the 11" metal case cabinet that is included in the package. This switch can support up to 7 GV-IP cameras. You do not require any special cable to connect the powered devices while using the GeoVision GV-POE0800 8-Port 802.3at PoE Switch.
