The Geovision 82-V2S0006-0000 (model GV-VMS006) is a six-port third-party camera license for the GV-VMS v20 video management platform. GV-VMS v20 provides up to 64 free channels for Geovision-branded IP cameras; this license authorizes the integration, live viewing, and recording of six non-Geovision cameras from brands such as Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, or Hanwha. As a bundled six-channel pack, it offers a lower per-channel cost than individual single-channel licenses and consolidates management under a single activation code.
The platform supports H.264, H.265, and MJPEG compression across resolutions from CIF through 4K megapixel, with GPU-based hardware decoding that minimizes CPU and system load. GPU fisheye dewarping flattens 360-degree camera views in real time with pan-tilt-zoom control. Universal protocol support for ONVIF (Profile S/G/T), RTSP, and PSIA provides compatibility with more than 500 camera models.
Advanced AI functions such as face recognition, people counting, area intrusion detection, heat mapping, and Smart PVD Motion Search are available with the separate AI License; AI camera events from AI-capable GV-IP cameras do not require it. GV-VMS v20 supports Microsoft SQL and Access databases and allows remote access over LAN, WAN, and internet through the GV-Eye mobile apps. Delivered as a digital software license, this SKU adds six third-party camera connections to an existing GV-VMS v20 installation.
