Description
Geovision GV-VMS008 GV-VMS V20 8 Channel Third-Party IP Camera License - 82-V2S0008-0000
The Geovision 82-V2S0008-0000 (model GV-VMS008) is an eight-port third-party camera license for the GV-VMS v20 video management platform. GV-VMS v20 provides up to 64 free channels for Geovision-branded IP cameras; this license authorizes the live viewing and recording of eight non-Geovision cameras from brands such as Axis, Hikvision, or Dahua. As a bundled eight-channel pack, it offers a lower per-channel cost than individual single-channel licenses and consolidates management under a single license code.
The platform supports H.264, H.265, and MJPEG compression across resolutions from CIF through 4K megapixel, with GPU-based hardware decoding that significantly reduces CPU load. GPU fisheye dewarping flattens 360-degree pan-tilt-zoom camera views in real time. Universal protocol support for ONVIF (Profile S/G/T), RTSP, and PSIA provides compatibility with more than 500 brands and over 1,000 IP camera models.
Advanced video content analysis includes AI-assisted face recognition, person and vehicle detection (PVD), heat mapping, people counting, and smart motion search. GV-VMS v20 supports Microsoft SQL and Access databases with remote access through a web browser, the GV-Eye mobile apps, and Remote ViewLog. Delivered as a digital software license, this SKU adds eight third-party camera connections to an existing GV-VMS v20 installation.
