It digitizes analog video signals from your PTZ cameras and sends them over an IP network using an Ethernet cable, allowing you to integrate the cameras without the need of equipment such as coaxial cabling, monitors, and DVRs. This video encoder is compact, yet it can handle multiple applications. It delivers real-time video and audio in full D1 resolution with support for over 50 PTZ models to fulfill various project demands. It also lets you record video by simply connecting a USB storage device. With GPS and support for UMTS, 3G, and 3.5G, it can provide a GIS solution with Geovision's GIS-based central management system (GV-GIS). Other features of GeoVision GV-VS12 include two-way audio, H.264/MPEG4/MJPEG compression, PoE connectivity, and a tampering alarm.
