The Luminys R52-16PA4 is part of the R5 Mainstream series of network video recorders, designed with a suite of advanced LumiTechnologies to meet the needs of today's evolving security market. This 16-channel NVR supports up to 32MP (8K) recording resolution and comes pre-installed with a 4TB hard drive, offering immediate out-of-box functionality for small to medium surveillance deployments.
Featuring 16 built-in PoE ports with LumiPower technology support on ports 1-8, this recorder enables long-distance Power over Ethernet transmission up to 3,000 feet, simplifying installations in larger or more complex environments. The 130W total PoE budget with up to 25.5W per port ensures reliable power delivery to all connected cameras.
With two SATA ports for storage expansion up to 32TB internally (16TB per HDD), the R52-16PA4 provides ample capacity for extended retention periods. The unit features up to 400Mbps incoming bandwidth (AI Off), making it capable of handling multiple high-resolution camera streams simultaneously.
The R52-16PA4 includes powerful recorder-side AI analytics such as Intelligent Motion Detection (8CH), Video Content Analytics with 10 rules per channel (4CH), and Face Recognition with support for up to 20,000 face pictures. LumiSearch+ technology enables quick target identification using reference images, attribute search, and animal filtering across 16 channels. Compatible with LumiViewer, LumiViewer Mobile App, and LumiCloud for comprehensive security management.
