Door stations with integrated cameras have been around for years. They are almost always based on analog TV technology that is over 60 years old and, because of the system involved, can only deliver very low image quality. Such systems only enable limited two-way communication. The station is installed using a complex cabling and power supply system.
The new IP Video Door Station from MOBOTIX offers a modern, powerful solution that is easy to install and that has never been available to the market until now.
The IP Video Door Station from MOBOTIX is an innovative, modular system for door communication and access control. The system supports the VoIP/SIP video telephony standard and can be upgraded or modified at any time. The camera module records all events taking place in front of the building or gate; when the bell is pushed, when motion is detected in the image area or upon triggering a contact. Fit for any weather, at dawn and dusk, as well as for backlight situations.
The camera module with a remote station can be used as a compact basic video door station thanks to the integrated doorbell and light buttons. The camera saves high-resolution video with lip-synchronous sound directly to the integrated 4 GB microSD card without requiring an external storage device or computer and with no additional network load.
