The Pelco HALO-3C is part of the HALO Smart Sensor family, an all-in-one IoT device that helps keep privacy-sensitive areas such as restrooms, locker rooms, and dormitories safe without using video or audio recording. It detects vaping, vaping with THC, aggression, gunshots, spoken keywords, tampering, and motion, while continuously monitoring air quality indicators including particulates, CO2, TVOCs, carbon monoxide, temperature, humidity, light, and sound levels.

Events are signaled on the device through programmable multicolor LEDs and a built-in speaker that can play pre-recorded or custom WAV alerts. As a VMS-agnostic sensor, the HALO-3C delivers real-time notifications into existing video management systems, and HALO Cloud adds trend analysis, custom reports, email and mobile alerts, and panic button support.

Installation is simple: the discreet 5.5 x 2 inch housing surface-mounts easily and is powered by IEEE 802.3af PoE (11W), with the ability to power two units over a single cable run. An IK08-rated, vandal-resistant housing with tamper alerts, a normally closed relay output, and a 5-year manufacturer warranty support dependable long-term operation.
