The Pelco SM8TAT2SA-NA is a smart managed Gigabit PoE+ switch built for IP surveillance, wireless access point, and edge networking deployments. It pairs eight 10/100/1000Base-T PoE+ ports with two dual-speed 100/1000 SFP uplink slots and 20 Gbps of switching capacity, delivering the throughput needed to carry multiple high-resolution camera streams without bottlenecks. A 130-watt PoE budget powers and connects up to eight IP-powered devices directly, removing separate power runs at the edge.

An embedded Device Management System (DMS) automatically discovers attached powered devices, maps network topology, and supports remote diagnostics and traffic monitoring, streamlining deployment and troubleshooting for security integrators. Layer 2 through Layer 4 managed features — including VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping, and ACLs — segment and prioritize camera traffic for a secure, stable network. The rack-mountable chassis operates on 100–240 VAC and is TAA compliant, supporting government and regulated-sector procurement.
