The QNAP VS-8140-PRO+ 40ch VioStor Network Video Recorder comes equipped with high quality recording functions for optimum surveillance of your property. This 40-channel, 8-bay tower NVR supports high quality real-time video, and audio monitoring, megapixel recording (up to 10-megapixel), and playback of multiple IP cameras. It offers a maximum 24TB physical storage, using 3TB hard drives (respectively), with hot-swappable RAID technology for high data redundancy. It is capable of H.264, MxPEG, MPEG-4, and M-JPEG recording from up to 40 IP cameras. Plus, integrated real-time digital watermarking is provided to ensure the authenticity of videos and snapshots.
With Smart Recording Technology, it maintains lower resolution during normal situations, but when anything suspicious happens, the Viostor NVR switches to high quality resolution to capture maximum image detail.
