The Samsung SRD-1653D-1TB 16ch 960H Digital Video Recorder can record up to 16 cameras at one time. The Samsung SRD-1653D not only has 16 channels of video input it can also handle up to 16 channels of audio input at one time. The new SRD-1653D DVR still retains the familiar and easy to use graphical interface, smartphone support, coaxitron, tampering detection, and E-mail alerts as previous models. It supports real-time, 30/25 frames per second recording and playback at 960 x 480 resolutions over all channels.

The Samsung SRD-1653D-1TB 16ch 960H Digital Video Recorder DVR employs high video compression rates without loss of quality, making it possible to record large amounts of data on a relatively small amount of storage space. The DVR files are encoded with H.264 video encoding and the audio is encoded with G.723 enabling simultaneous hard disc recording and playback as well as streaming across a network to another user on a windows based PC or mobile phone seamlessly.
