Samsung SRN-873S-1TB 8CH Network Video Recorder with PoE Switch is a Linux-based professional Network Video Recorder designed for small and medium-sized businesses and enterprises, supporting 8 channels. With the storage interface of 2 SATA HDDs and one e-SATA Hard drive of 1Tb, the NVR allows long term recording and retention. The device supports Recording Bandwidth of 64Mbps in real time recording of 8 cameras in 2 M. It uses less bandwidth while offering good recording quality and image viewing with the support of CIF ~ 8M resolution and H.264 and MJPEG compression. The built-in 8 PoE+ ports allow the NVR to also power PoE IP cameras.

The network-monitoring feature allows convenient monitoring options for recorded footages through Web viewer, SSM, SmartViewer, and iPOLis smart phone app. The device does not require any complicated installation process. The user can plug the Network Video Recorder to the power source to choose and connect to a preferred network. Then the setup wizard will guide through the simple auto camera configuration.
