Description
Speco SX400 400W Solar Powered Camera Enclosure System
The Speco SX400 is a 400W solar-powered enclosure system built to support remote IP camera surveillance where utility power is unavailable. It combines a 400W solar panel array with a weatherproof enclosure and an integrated MPPT charge controller, housing the battery, controller, and camera power distribution together in a single lockable unit at the deployment site. This makes it suited to construction sites, wildlife habitats, remote facilities, and similar locations that need surveillance coverage without a grid connection.
The integrated MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) charge controller automatically optimizes the solar array's power output relative to battery state and ambient conditions, delivering higher charge efficiency than standard PWM controllers. The weatherproof lockable enclosure protects the battery, controller, and power distribution components from weather exposure, tampering, and vandalism at unattended remote sites.
The solar panel array and enclosure are supplied as an integrated system. To complete a surveillance deployment, add a compatible Speco IP camera and network connectivity via a cellular router or wired connection.
Key Features:
- 400W solar panel array; supplies grid-independent power for remote IP camera installations with no utility connection.
- Integrated MPPT charge controller; optimizes charge efficiency against battery state and ambient conditions, outperforming standard PWM controllers.
- Weatherproof lockable enclosure; shields the battery, controller, and power distribution from weather, tampering, and vandalism.
- Single-unit design; consolidates battery, charge controller, and camera power distribution at the camera deployment site.
- Integrated solar and enclosure system; requires only a compatible IP camera and network connectivity to complete the deployment.
