The Speco SXA200 is a completely self-contained 200W solar power system for surveillance deployments at locations without utility power. It combines a pole-mounted solar array with a weather-proof aluminum enclosure that protects batteries, PoE injectors, converters, and charging equipment from both the elements and tampering. Solar panel and enclosure mounting hardware are included, and the universal mounting design fits a range of pole installations. Cameras and batteries are not included.

Power management uses an advanced solar charge controller with a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm for efficient charging across varying light and battery conditions. The SXA200 array consists of two 100W panels measuring 40" x 27" each, with a combined mounted weight of 45 lbs, a 100 MPH wind rating, and 12 Volts DC output. Continuous power available for equipment depends on installation region, ranging from 30W in the sunniest zone down to 7W in the least sunny; these figures assume 24/7/365 operation based on the shortest days of the year. The system is not recommended for Alaska or Canada.

The aluminum enclosure measures 21.5" H x 16" W x 14.5" D with a durable powder coat finish and weighs approximately 28 lbs. It accepts two 100Ah batteries (not included, each 9.2" H x 12.3" W x 6.7" D) and delivers up to 11 days of battery backup when used with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, though actual backup time varies with load, battery size, and configuration. A lockable wing-knob accepts a standard pad-lock (not included), and the unit mounts to a 4" to 6" pole with straps not included. Operating range spans -40°F to 140°F. The system is NDAA compliant under Section 889 Part B guidelines.
