The Speco SXP600 is a complete 600W solar power system for IP camera deployments at sites without utility power. It pairs a pole-mounted solar array with a weather-proof aluminum enclosure that houses the charge controller, PoE switch, converters, and charging equipment in a single self-contained, tamper-resistant unit. Solar panels and mounting hardware are included, as is the enclosure mounting hardware, making this a deployable package rather than a component set.

Power management uses an advanced solar charge controller with a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm, which optimizes array output against battery state and ambient conditions for higher charge efficiency than conventional PWM control. The array delivers 24VDC output and the integrated PoE switch supports both IEEE 802.3af devices up to 15.4W and IEEE 802.3at devices up to 25.5W. Available power for camera use varies by solar zone, ranging from 85W in the sunniest regions down to 16W in the least sunny; the system is not recommended for Alaska or Canada.

The aluminum enclosure measures 32" (H) x 24" (W) x 16" (D) and weighs 38 lbs, accommodating up to four 100Ah batteries (batteries not included; each measures 9.2" H x 12.3" W x 6.7" D). It secures with a lockable wing-knob accepting a standard padlock (padlock not included) and mounts to a 3" to 6" Schedule 40 rigid metal pole or stronger, with straps not included. The array consists of six 100W panels measuring 40" x 27" each with a combined weight of 120 lbs, rated to 100 mph wind. Operating range spans -40°F to 140°F. The system carries network operator certifications for AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon; a SIM card is not included.
