Ubiquiti Network ER-X-SFP EdgeRoute X is a part of the EdgeMAX platform that provides sophisticated routing features. The device provides five independent, Gigabit RJ45 ports that are configurable for switching. This router supports 24V passive PoE to power up to five airMAX antennas. The device adds an optical SFP port to support backhaul applications. The graphical user interface EdgeOS is user friendly and easy to access. It makes routing features simple to configure and monitor. The integrated Command-Line Interface (CLI) provides convenient access to advanced functions. Each Gigabit port of the device functions as an independent interface.

The 880MHz dual-core processor along with 256 MB of DDR3 RAM and 256 MB of NAND code provides ample storage. All the ports are hot-swappable and support a 100 Mbps or Gigabit fiber SFP module. The RJ45 ports support passive 24V PoE output and 10/100/1000 Ethernet connections. The front panel consists of status indicators for power and ports. The device supports OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), RIP (Routing Information Protocol), and BGP (Border Gateway Protocol). Ubiquiti Networks ER-X-SFP EdgeRouter X comes with a Power Adapter (24V, 2.5A), Power Cord and Quick Start Guide.
