The Ubiquiti UISP-FIBER-OLT-XGS is an eight-port optical line terminal designed to deliver symmetric 10 Gbps uplink and downlink speeds to over 2,000 subscribers from a single 1U rack unit. It serves as the head-end of an XGS-PON deployment, terminating fiber from neighborhood splitters and connecting downstream Optical Network Units (ONUs) into the operator's core network. Eight XGS/XG/GPON ports give ISPs the flexibility to mix legacy GPON and modern XGS-PON subscribers on the same chassis, while four 1/10/25G SFP28 uplinks provide the high-throughput backhaul required to feed thousands of customers without bottlenecks.

The OLT runs on a managed platform that supports VLAN segmentation, advanced QoS, concurrent client registration, and comprehensive remote monitoring through the UISP cloud. A dedicated out-of-band Ethernet management port, in-band management, RJ45 serial console, and Bluetooth give field engineers multiple paths into the device for provisioning and troubleshooting. Built around an SGCC steel enclosure with two hot-swappable AC/DC PSUs, the unit is designed for 24/7 operation in carrier rack environments, drawing a maximum of 70 W and operating from -10 to 45 °C. The product is NDAA compliant and carries CE, FCC, and IC certifications, making it suitable for U.S. federal, ISP, and enterprise FTTH/FTTB/FTTP rollouts.
