The Vivotek VIT04A-W is a 4MP outdoor IP turret camera engineered for high-fidelity color surveillance around the clock. Part of Vivotek's Chroma24 lineup, it features a large 1/1.8" progressive CMOS sensor paired with an exceptionally wide F1.0 aperture 4mm fixed lens, delivering vivid full-color imagery even in near-zero light conditions. The hybrid illuminator system combines built-in infrared and warm light LEDs with Smart IR, extending effective night vision up to 30 meters while preventing overexposure.

The VIT04A-W is built around a multimedia SoC with a hardware deep learning accelerator, enabling onboard AI analytics including people and vehicle detection, attribute extraction (gender, clothing color, vehicle type and color), intrusion detection, loitering detection, line crossing, and face detection — all without relying on external processing. A 120dB WDR Pro engine ensures balanced exposure in high-contrast scenes such as building entrances and parking lots. The camera supports up to three concurrent H.265/H.264/MJPEG streams at 4MP/30fps and includes seamless recording to MicroSD (up to 1TB) and NAS.
