The AXIS A4130-E is a secure OSDP RFID reader designed for flexible access control installations. It supports most 13.56 MHz smart card standards including MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Plus, and MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3, enabling touch-free entry with broad credential compatibility. OSDP Secure Profile verified for strong interoperability with Axis and third-party access control systems, it can be remotely managed by Axis door controllers for configuration, feature updates, and security patches from anywhere.

The reader's EAL6+ Certified Secure Element (CC EAL6+, FIPS 140-3 Level 3) and transparent mode provide end-to-end encryption by storing the encryption key on the door controller rather than on the reader itself. IP66 and IK07 ratings make it suitable for harsh outdoor environments. A built-in tamper switch detects both open casing and removal from wall. Easy installation on single-gang boxes or any flat surface, with a 4-pin RS485 terminal block for OSDP connection. Compatible with AXIS TA4711 Access Cards, AXIS TA4712 Key Fobs, and the AXIS TA4201 Weathershield.
