A good basic network video recorder available at an affordable price. It is a compact recorder that only supports the cameras from the same brand and it also supports PoE connection which is a big plus for me. It comes with 1TB hard disk that is of surveillance grade. This is a good one Axis!

This is my third video recorder in past 5 or 6 years. My first one was from LTS for my office and it failed me miserably when someone tried to troubleshoot the wiring. After that I decided to spend more and buy an expensive product, hoping that this will work out for me and it did. Then I decided to buy one for my home and one of my family members suggested that you don’t have to buy an expensive product to good functionality and recommended Axis. To my shock, it offers more features than Bosch and at a good price. I could have bought three recorders from Axis in the price that I paid for Bosch.

Comparing the price and the features that this recorder offers, I am a bit disappointed. In this price range there are other options that are offering more features. But Axis is a good quality brand and I’ll be loyal to them. I’ll buy another one from them.
