The high performance 1/3‑inch CCD camera is available with a 3.8 mm fixed lens or a 3.8 to 9.5 mm varifocal lens. The unit is an ideal solution for demanding scene conditions. The Day/Night feature ensures the highest image quality possible at any time. Depending on the available light, the camera automatically switches from color to monochrome.

With a resolution of 540 TVL in color and 580 TVL in B&W mode, the camera permits clear images even under variable lighting conditions. The device is able to record footage even at 0.15 lux (color) and 0.05 lux (B&W) illumination. The Bosch VDC-250F04-20 Day/Night Dome Security Camera supports a privacy masking function that can conceal up to 4 user configurable zones. In addition, this camera's motion detection function with 4 selectable zones further enhances vigilance.
