Bosch FCP-500-K Conventional Flush-mount Smoke Detector Kit

This product detects smoke through LED transmitters. LEDs pulse infrared light at a defined angle into the scattered light area. If a fire occurs, the light is scattered by the smoke particles and strikes the photo diodes that transform the quantity of light into a proportional electrical signal. Daylight interference is filtered out to prevent false alarms.
