The Bosch NBC-255-W Wireless IP Security Camera is a complete network video surveillance system. Using it as a stand-alone surveillance system is simple. The camera operates straight out of the box with no additional equipment required and can store days worth of capture locally in an SD Memory Card. It integrates easily with the Bosch Divar XF Hybrid H.264 recorder using H.264 compression technology to give clear images while reducing bandwidth and storage by up to 30%. It features a 2.8mm-10mm varifocal lens, and is easy to install and use.

The NBC-255-W can operate without a digital video recorder or PC, storing days of video on a Secure Digital (SD) flash memory card. It supports dual streaming, and also allows the configuration of multiple cameras simultaneously using an auto detection device. A wide range of configuration options is available for alarms, signaling camera tampering. A built-in algorithm for detecting movement in the video is also used for alarm signaling. The Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standard ensures compatibility with other surveillance products, thus contributing to a reduction in future upgrade or migration costs. With the PoE configuration, only a single cable connection is required to view, power, and control the camera. The camera comes with a free viewing software for up to 16 channels.
