The Bosch NDP-7802-Z40L is a high-performance AUTODOME 7100i PTZ dome camera engineered for demanding outdoor surveillance applications including city surveillance, perimeter protection, and critical infrastructure monitoring. Featuring starlight imaging technology, it achieves a minimum color illumination of just 0.0067 lux, delivering detailed imagery in near-complete darkness without supplemental lighting. The 40x optical zoom lens (4.25–170mm, F1.6–4.95) covers a horizontal field of view from 66.35° down to 1.9°, enabling both wide-area monitoring and forensic-level detail at long range. The integrated IR illuminator provides an exceptional detection distance of up to 300m (984ft) at 850nm.

The NDP-7802-Z40L incorporates a dedicated hardware-accelerated AI processor supporting IVA Pro analytics — including IVA Pro Buildings, IVA Pro Perimeter, and IVA Pro Privacy — for deep learning-based detection of persons, vehicles, bikes, and trucks with high accuracy across crowded and congested scenes. The camera supports fully configurable quad streaming in H.265/H.264/M-JPEG, 256 pre-positions with ±0.1° accuracy, and intelligent tracking at speeds up to 400°/s. Optional direct fiber connection via compatible pendant or pipe mounts provides additional communications security for sensitive deployments.
